Easter Egg Hunt In Bayview

The day was a fine day for an Easter Egg Hunt at Bayview Community Center. Friday April 18, 2014 Marsha, Lesley, Norma Jean, and Sadie met for an evening of stuffing brightly colored eggs for the Egg Hunt the next day. Dean came over to Marsha’s house to help stuff over 500 eggs!

The next April 19^th gave us sunshine and decidedly cool breezes. Eggs were hidden, well sort of, for the coming Hunt. Cars started arriving about 10:15 am, children of all ages spilling out, excited and ready to find Easter Eggs. Prizes were given out to those who found the special eggs.

All in all everyone had a great time.

2014 Easter Egg Hunt

Who says the Chamber never does anything?

On April 8, 2014 at 6:00 pm The Bayview Chamber of Commerce help a Chili Cook-off and Feast. We had 11 Chili’s brought to the Community Center and at one point it appeared we would have more chili than attendee’s. Everyone had a great time and if you weren’t there you missed out on some excellent chili!

Three winners were chosen:

3^rd place – Cindy Grandy

2^nd place – Don Gardner

1^st place – Chuck Murray

Honorable mention – Corrine Wolfe

All left-over chili was donated to LOU!

Crazy Hat Day May 13, 2014 7 pm at The Chamber meeting. Everyone invited to participate!

Memorial Day Breakfast May 26, 2014 (menu to be announced) at 8:00am Bayview Community Center.
