Road trip!

Road Trip!

Getting ready to take a two week road trip, I am sure this will further define Dean's and my relationship. It will either be fun or we will have killed each other before we get back. Somehow I doubt that will happen. Our road trips always reminded me of the song by C.W. McCall "Wolf Creek Pass"

"Sign says clearance to the twelve-foot line, but the chickens was stacked to thirteen-nine. Well we shot that tunnel at a hundred-and-ten, like gas through a funnel and eggs through a hen, and we took that top row of chickens off slicker than scum off a Lousiana swamp. Went down and around and around and down 'til we run outta ground at the edge of town. Bashed into the side of the feed store... in downtown Pagosa Springs.
[Chorus]
Wolf Creek Pass, way up on the Great Divide
Truckin' on down the other side."

Anyway we are headed to Colorado Springs via Pocatello and Laramie. I really hate driving down through Casper WY., that is a long story. So we thought we would try a different route. Thinking of Colorado got me thinking about all of our trips in Colorado and of course Pagosa Springs, CW McCall and our dear friend who recently passed away. Max showed us Turquoise Lake, Weston Pass, Leadville, and of course C.W. McCall. Max we are going to miss you! Primitive camping, early spring fishing, time passed by the fire, and knife throwin'.

You all may have been wondering what I have been doing with all this free time I have on my hands. As everyone says I don't know how I worked and still got everything done! My hairdresser asked me that very question, after greeting each as long lost friends, you see I have not seen Rita for three years because of my work schedule. Believe me it was worth the three year wait. I love Rita! Anyway I got off the subject. I have been working on refining the pattern for Steve's (my son-in-law) 2' x 3' stained glass piece and practicing so I can cut the piece for this massive of work of art.  Below are pictures of some of the pieces I have completed as practice.

That my friends is the end of my post fro the day. Thank you all who read my blog and facebook pages. You all make me feel good and I send blessings your way!
